The development site focuses on lands at Queen’s Parade and the area currently used as Marine Gardens car park. The regeneration of the Queen’s Parade area around Bangor Marina will play a vital role in the future economic success of the town.
This £50 million investment will provide the opportunity to create a premier waterfront destination for Bangor, and for Northern Ireland. The scheme will attract further investment and will support the town centre’s future, as well as the economic vitality of the whole Ards and North Down area.
Bangor Marine Limited is a joint venture partnership between Karl Group and Farrans created specially to deliver the project. The two companies bring specialist experience and skills.

The period for responding to the consultation has now come to a close.
As part of the project’s Pre-Application Community Consultation activity public information events were held in The Hub at Project 24 on 18th and 19th June 2019, and information was displayed with feedback forms at The Aurora Leisure Centre. A second round of events were held on 1st and 2nd August 2019, also at The Hub.
All feedback received will be considered and summarised in a Pre-Application Community Consultation report which will be submitted as part of the planning application.
